I commute to the city from Maroubra Beach most days. Leaving about 7:30 and arriving at the City (Martin pl) at 8:00 am. Return times are very varied and often quite late. My normal route is fitzgerald avenue and ANZAC Parade (bus lanes), Flinders, Oxford, College, Macquaire streets. This route is for experienced cyclists. However, if there is interest out there in organising a bus for a quiter route (say utilising the bike routes on Doncaster and the moore park cycle way) I'd be more than happy to be involved.

You guys still cycling into town each day? I just moved from Melbourne and have cycled Anzac Pde which is pretty crap, but not sure about alternative routes. I'm cycling from Maroubra, some days I have to go to Pymble but I've been cycling to Refern then taking the train, which is better route than Anzac Pde but not the quickest way. Any tips or times of bike busses etc will be great, cheers

on2wheels, I pm'd you, but for anyone else still doing this, i'll be riding this route from the 2nd May.
Feel free to drop me a line if you do it regularly, either to ride along with me or to offer me some tips on which route is best (otherwise i'm going to end up busting heads on ANZAC parade...
I am hoping to be in the city by around the 8, 8:15am mark, leaving between 4:30 and 5pm in the arvos.
